Public Art in St. Paul's & Surrounding Community
Mural Projects
St. Paul's is committed to service learning in all aspects of the curriculum. In art, we explore this through exposing students to public art and thinking about the context of a space and the people who inhabit that space. Starting from our own school walls, students designed and proposed mural installations. Once approved, students got to work and helped on another put up murals on walls or objects. We continue to look for opportunities in the Oakland community with our students to find walls that the entire community can benefit from seeing.
